What Is The South Woodham Ferrers Day Centre?
As a day centre, we are all about community and choice. Our staff strive to build a warm and welcoming environment where all can participate in building our friendly community.
Our day centre offers a place for people who are elderly, physically disabled or have learning difficulties often feel lonely and isolated due to their limitations to go where they can socialise with others in a similar situation to them, whilst receiving the support they need from volunteers and experienced healthcare staff.
Day Activities and Day Trips
Some of our activities include bingo, quizzes, arts and crafts and more. We also offer day trips with transport to local shops.
Hot Meals and Refreshments
We serve a variety of hot meals and refreshments, including tea and biscuits throughout the day!
Companionship and Support
